Need something interesting and different to do in Naples this weekend?
In this day and age who doesn't like to do something that is FREE??? Well the Naples Botanical Garden is undergoing a metamorphis so to speak... in the meantime prior to their big redevelopment admission is FREE. Wed- Saturday from 10 a.m - 4 p.m. and Sunday 12- 4 until May 31st.
Not only is free admission open to the garden but to the Butterfly house
as well as the Mosaic Gardens, and Florida Uplands Preserve.
The new and improved Botanical Garden will be open in the fall of 2010 and will offer 160 acres of Tropical Delight! Remember the garden will close June 1st. If you would like to participate in a real life before and after, head over to the Botanical Garden this weekend. See the before...and head out to lunch ( with all the money you saved on this free activity.

Hey SHannon,
I've been wanting to visit the Botanical Gardens but have never gotten around to it. What street is it on in Naples?
I know me too - I am going to go - it's easy to find just take Bayshore Dr. off 41 (over the bridge by Tin city heading toward Marco on 41 right on Bayshore Dr)- It's right on Bayshore - its in a little ways - Bayshore and Thomasson but very easy to find... I have been by it a hundred times and always say I want to visit .... bring a camera :-)
