Here in Naples Florida the data continues to look promising as to an improvement in the number of home sales pending ( double digit increases!) . The local board of realtors ( NABOR) continues to publish it's reports and contribute sales data to the Naples Daily News ( who published an article on the front page this past weekend). The numbers are showing that April has been the busiest month of the year so far.
A plus for home buyers is that Naples is now more affordable than ever and if you thought you might like to have a place here either making the move as a full time resident ;or finding a place to rent out or relax at throughout the year now may be the time. There are still well priced properties and they don't last. Remember Realtors® have their fingers on the pulse of the market so if you want to know what is going on use a Realtor®.

Sounds like it is on the up and up for you! We had triple digit increases from Dec to Feb. Since December we are looking at pendings going up 350%! Our absorption has cut in half. Hopefully this is the time for Naples too!
Thats some good news. I know Florida is one of the worst hit states next to California.
Renee - Wow I love hearing that - and see the impression is that ( thanks to the news media) that no where is there any turn around... I love it! Yes I optimistic that this is the time for Naples and I am so ready! Thanks for the response and input. I love hearing what other markets are doing. Are you seeing improvements in a certain price point or type of home or is it across the board?
Hi John, Yes it is great news! ( Although not as good as writing 3 contracts :-) Unfortunately Florida is such a big state and the areas are all so different and Naples is sooo unique that the " general " news gets out and it makes everyone think things are horrible everywhere. I'm glad you too are selling property and hope you have a very successful spring!
Shannon nice to hear that you market is doing well. I wish I could say the same up here in MASS. It is has been a challenging market for the last 3 years and it is not getting any better.
Hi Bill, Sorry that the news there isn't better - it has been a long 3 years here too so I wish you a turnaround soon. I grew up in Medfield and know what a pretty area it is... Try to stay positive and if you just can't take it well refer someone to Naples and maybe you can make some moola that way :-) Have a good one and thanks again for the yahoo directory info - couldn't get on to India without the $299 but everything else worked
