How Frustrating is this?

Ok you get up early with the best intentions of getting everything accomplished... you sit down at the computer with your cup of coffee and start typing away.  You are working on an amazing post.  Your blogging away and then you accidentally click into something else and the whole thing is GONE!!!!  arrghh - 30 minutes of work just disappeared.... has this happened to anyone out there???

Comments

Unfortunately "Yes" it has happened to me before. Once I got so frustrated I said the heck with it and didn't write the post. (I came back and wrote it eventually).

But what can you do? Just sit back, enjoy your coffee...sigh, and start typing away again. :)

Shannon, I do all my writing first in a text editor such as Word or Front Page. This way I do not loose my work. I then copy and paste my text into the AR blog site. I can understand how upset your urinary tract can get when you loose 30 minutes of work. I hope that this helps.  8-}

Shannon,

Cummon it happens to all of us, but it is always nice to write in something else prior to posting.

Take care!

YES!  I had less problems after typing them in firefox.  Word doesn't hurt also or just doing a copy and paste prior to hitting "send"

Sure its happened! Living in New Orleans during Katrina, I had my laptop shut down for some odd reason and could not get it started again. A power surge knocked out my desktop. I thought both were lost. The desktop was lost but oour tech at the office was able to retreive what i had on the harddrive and saved my photos and work. He was able to get the laptop to turnon and at least work after a five minute start up. It could have been worst as I did not flood and lose everything.
