Well the latest market data I have received is as follows; Sales in Naples are continuing to happen!
May closed sales were up 2% over May of 2007. May pended sales are up 29% over May of 2007 for the entire market area.
Another number to make note of is the closed sales are now up 4% over 2007. Here is another huge bit of information New listings taken for May of 2008 are the lowest for May since 2005 and that is great news....
For those of you who continue to appreciate a local company with 50 years worth of business history here in Collier County I am also pleased to announce that John R. Wood listings are outselling other local brokers. Through May of 2008 363 John R. Wood listings have closed ( more than several well known other local brokers).
Finally I am happy to report that the buyers I am working with are recognizing a good deal and not waiting. After losing out they are now very serious and they are coming down ... in the OFF season. Hey prices are great, rentals are cheaper - it's been hotter in Boston and we all have central a/c. Why not check it out for yourself? Come to Naples !
